Green Closure Notice

To all bowling members of The Shipley Club, the club has recently announced at the bowls AGM that the green will be closing after Saturday 26th October.

This is to provide our greenkeeper the opportunity to carry out some end of season work and give the bowling green chance to flourish over the Winter months in preparation for next season.

Thanks again to all bowlers involved in a successful 2024 season. Well done to those who managed to win a league/cup this year & for anyone wishing to continue bowling this week, feel free to enjoy the remaining days on the green before we're forced to close it. Another huge thanks to our greenkeeper (and helpers) for maintaining the green throughout the year & providing an immaculate surface for us to play on.
